Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced contract to EOC1, LLC, 231 East Broughton St., Bainbridge, GA 39817. EOC1, LLC will service, decontaminate, and repair Laminar Air-Flow Hoods and Bio-Safety Cabinets located at the Memphis VA Medical Center, 1030 Jefferson Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104. The services needed are imperative to protect veterans, VA personnel, product, and the environment from exposure to biohazards and cross contamination during routine procedures in the life science, clinical, pharmaceutical and laboratory settings. The requirement will be sole sourced to EOC1, LLC in order to maintain consistency in servicing the Laminar Air-Flow Hoods and Bio-Safety Cabinets, which are imperative for the accountability and measurement purposes. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b) (2), "soliciting from a single source." The NAICS code is 811219 and has a size standard of $19M for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 2:00p.m. CST, September 23, 2014 to: Matthew.Cox@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate.
