- The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division on behalf of the Warfighter Science, Technology & Applied Research Directorate intends to award a firm fixed price contract under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) only one responsible source to Xeros, Inc., Manchester, NH. 03103-5611; to provide front loading commercial laundry machine that utilizes the surface chemistry of polymer beads for cleaning. The intended use is for research being performed at NSRDEC to test and evaluate the efficiency and reducing the demand of water required in a traditional cleaning process. Xeros laundering method is patented and unique to only Xeros. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
