- Statement of Work for Repair Termite Damage & Fumigate B31, Fort MacArthur The Building 31 is currently infested with dry wood termites which are ca using significant damage to this historical structure. The tenting and fumigating the building may require installing roof anchors - this is a means-and-method approach, and selected contractor may opt a different approach. Regardless to types of means and method, the successful contractor shall ensure safe working environment for both their personnel and ensure building integrity is not compromised. Upon work completion, all exterior façade, including the roof, shall retain its original integrity. Close coordination is required for relocating the current occupant and their safe return upon completing the work. As the building is registered historic structures all proposed work need to be reviewed by the LAAFB Cultural Resources Department who will consult with the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). All chemicals or treatments used in conjunction with this project shall meet Department of Defense, Air Force and Local LAAFB requirements. The selected vendor must have an approved and active CAGE CODE and/or DUNS#. This requirement is contingent on available funds. A site visit will be conducted on 22 September 2014 at 10:00 AM.
