- DESCRIPTION: NSN 3040-01-411-4855 - "Shaft Assembly, Straight" being bought in accordance with approved drawings, shown in the item description below. The required quantity is 200 each, to be shipped to (W25G1U) Susquehanna, PA. FOB Origin and Inspection/Acceptance at Origin is required. The solicitation will include a 200% option that may be exercised at the time of award or 14 days prior to final delivery at the Governments discretion. The requirements for this item include a Contractor First Article Test (FAT). Based on Market Research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capabilities to satisfy the Governments requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. This acquisition is a total set-aside for small business. This solicitation will be available or about 10/2/2014 at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rf. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Technical drawings/bid sets will be available at the time the solicitation is posted to DIBBS. The required delivery for quantity of 200 each is 300 days, which includes the First Article Test requirements. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. Notice: This solicitation contains DLAD Provision 52.215-9023 for Reverse Auction (RA). The Government reserves the right to activate this provision after timely offers have been received and evaluated. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. DISPOSITION: THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT SUBMIT THE FIRST ARTICLE UNITS FOR ACCEPTANCE AS PART OF THE PRODUCTION QUANTITY. 52.246-11 Higher Level Contract Quality Requirement (Manufacturers) FAR CLAUSE 52.246-11 APPLIES. A QUALITY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS OF ISO 9001:2008; A PROGRAM COMPARABLE TO ISO 9001:2008 (EXAMPLE SAE AS 9100), THE FOLLOWING TAILORED VERSION OF ISO 9001:2008; OR A PROGRAM COMPARABLE TO THE TAILORED VERSION OF ISO 9001:2008 (EXAMPLE SAE AS 9003) IS REQUIRED.
