Vendor is to provide replacement equipment Q: Is there or will/can there be remote connectivity for monitoring? A: No remote connectivity is allowed. How old is the system or when was the current DAS installation completed? 5. Task 1, Item 9. How do equipment costs get handled when repair or replacement of hardware is necessary for reasons other than the listed (i.e. Failure for no apparent reason) 6. Task 3. Does the government currently have executed re-transmission agreements with the cellular carriers serviced by the existing DAS? A:The DAS currently installed on the USUHS campus is a neutral host Andrews/CommScope solution. The DAS has approximately 77 antennas, 38 remote units and provides coverage in 10 buildings and parking areas. The Andrews/CommScope equipment utilized a Node A unit, ION-B shelves and ION-B slave units. System Design documentation will be provided upon contract award.
