- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The commercial items procedures of FAR Part 12 will be used. NAICS code is 334111, size standard 1,000 employees. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-74B/75 effective July 1, 2014. Accordingly, any contract resulting from this solicitation will include this clause. The contractor is advised in performing contract administration functions, the CO may use the services of a support contractor(s) retained by VA to assist in assessing the contractor's compliance with the limitations on subcontracting or percentage of work performance requirements specified in the clause. To that end, the support contractor(s) may require access to contractor's offices where the contractor's business records or other proprietary data are retained and to review such business records regarding the contractor's compliance with this requirement. Accordingly, any contract resulting from this solicitation will include these clauses. The contractor is advised in performing contract administration functions, the CO may use the services of a support contractor(s) to assist in assessing contractor compliance with the subcontracting commitments incorporated into the contract. To that end, the support contractor(s) may require access to the contractor's business records or other proprietary data to review such business records regarding contract compliance with this requirement. Statement of Work - ScriptPro CRS The following services for the ScriptPro Compact Robotic System (CRS) OR EQUAL shall be provided: 1.Installation "The VA-Redding Outpatient clinic will ensure that the location is prepared prior to installation. "Contractor shall install the CRS at the VA-Redding Outpatient Clinic. "Installation is a firm-fixed price line item and shall include all related costs including travel. "Installation is to be arranged upon delivery of all items to be installed and shall be completed within three business days of commencement. "Installation shall include moving all equipment from the loading dock to Building 116, Room A23. "Interface initial setup shall begin upon completion of the equipment installation. Contractor shall work with VA IT employees to integrate the CRS with VistA. The COR will coordinate the integration. 2.Training "Training will be conducted onsite at VANCHCS-Redding. "Contractor shall train Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians the detailed operation of CRS system components. "Training shall include general maintenance and troubleshooting. "All training supplies and related materials are to be provided by Contractor. 3.General "The interface shall have the capability to extract the patient's name, patient's address, name of drug, directions, date, quantity, warning labels, prescription medication information, refill number, name of clinic, address of clinic, discard date, date of expiration, refills remaining, day supply, refill phone number, Pharmacist's unique number, physician's name, Pharmacy technicians unique number, time of fill and last fill from the VistA system. "The interface shall include information from outpatient prescriptions, original fills, refills and partials. "The interface shall have the capability to identify National Drug Codes (NDC) in the VA system. "Shall include VistA prescription barcode for each prescription on the label that will be utilized for identifying and releasing prescriptions. "Upon completion, pharmacist shall be able to scan the barcode of the filled and reviewed prescription on the CRS system and the release data will be sent back to VistA pharmacy. "Contractor shall provide updates and patches for the interface. "Contractor shall provide customer service and technical support for a monthly support fee. The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of this paragraph (d) if this contract was awarded using other than sealed bid, is in excess of the simplified acquisition threshold, and does not contain the clause at 52.215-2, Audit and Records--Negotiation. (1) The Comptroller General of the United States, or an authorized representative of the Comptroller General, shall have access to and right to examine any of the Contractor's directly pertinent records involving transactions related to this contract. (2) The Contractor shall make available at its offices at all reasonable times the records, materials, and other evidence for examination, audit, or reproduction, until 3 years after final payment under this contract or for any shorter period specified in FAR Subpart 4.7, Contractor Records Retention, of the other clauses of this contract. If this contract is completely or partially terminated, the records relating to the work terminated shall be made available for 3 years after any resulting final termination settlement. Records relating to appeals under the disputes clause or to litigation or the settlement of claims arising under or relating to this contract shall be made available until such appeals, litigation, or claims are finally resolved.
