Description

SPECIAL NOTICE Naval Criminal Investigation Service intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to SAP National Security Services Inc. for the Russel Knox Building to the SAP Government Support and Services, Inc.at 3809 W Chester Pike Bldg. 1 Newtown Square PA 19073-2331. This requirement has a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 511210 Software publishers ITEM HD181650BUSINESS OBJECTS XCELSIUS MAINTENANCE RENEWAL1YR In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 only 1 source responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes. For this contract action the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within two (2) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The proposed acquisition is to procure continued support for products owned by NCIS. Business Object/SAP is the only software compatable with the NCIS IT Infrastructure and business intelligence requirements. Using This requirement will result in a Firm-Fixed price purchase order to Business Objects/SAP The determination not to compete this requirement will be at the sole discretion of the Government.
