Description

Sole Source Justification_signed Solicitation No. LCCRS14Q0094 The Library of Congress intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to A.J. Boggs and Company. The requirement is for the PISCES Search Engine Annual License. This notice of intent is not a request for quote. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. Questions by phone or fax will not be considered. This effort is required to provide ongoing licensing of the PISCES search engine licenses which are deployed in the CRS environment to support the TAP system. The purpose and magnitude of the TAP system is the provide efficiencies to the work of the CRS Bill Digest section and facilitate high quality Bill analysis in a much shorter time than would be possible without the TAP system. Deliverables will include: 1) Annual PISCES Search Engine Maintenance (Includes bug fixes, technical support, and product upgrades for one year) for the PISCES licenses currently in use at CRS/LoC 2) Annual (Seat Based) Licenses for the TAP User Administration System The period of performance will be: Base Year: 10/1/14-9/30/15 Option Year I: 10/1/015-9/30/16 Option Year II: 10/1/16-9/30/17 The primary point of contact will be: Brandon Pichanick Library of Congress 101 Independence Ave. SE Washington, DC 20540 bpic@loc.gov Attached to this notice are both the solcitiation and the sole source justification to A.J.
