This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage or service disabled veteran owned small business) relative to NAICS 621498, All Other Outpatient Care Centers (size standard of $19 Million). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published in the FedBizOpps website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement, in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, is seeking potential Contractors capable of providing The VA North Texas Veterans Healthcare System located at the Dallas VA Medical Center, 4500 South Lancaster, Dallas, TX 75216 with remote cardiac telemetry and remote sleep studies. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED Cardiac event monitoring: "30-day event monitoring service of outpatients in Cardiology/Electrophysiology Pacing Service Monitors are assigned per consultation requests received for each patient requiring this service. "Intensive monitoring with continuous 10- or 21-day recording with ability to detect and quantify arrhythmias. "Contractor shall provide a means for the service with all supplemental equipment (i.e. batteries, electrodes and instructions) whereby the device will be given to the patient by the NTVHCS Dallas VAMC Cardiology Department (they will manage SPD portion). CPAP Evaluations "Diagnosis of Home Sleep Studies "Web-based clinical reporting "Device to be given to patient at NTVHCS Dallas VAMC by sleep lab to take home that will measure nasal and oral airflow, snoring, actigraphy, body positioning, pulse oximetry, heart rate, EKG, thoracic effort and abdominal effort. "Contractor shall provide a means for home sleep testing to diagnose Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) procedure service will be shipped a device with all supplemental equipment (i.e. batteries, electrodes, and instructions) for up to 3 nights of monitoring. "Contractor will then use data transmission to provide an evaluation and document results. The documentation will include Analysis, Event Indexes, Total Recording Time Measurement Methodology Measurements of the Naso/Oral Flow, Snoring, Body Movement, Actigraphy, Thoracic, Abdominal, Body Position, Pulse, ECG, and SaO2. Additionally body movement and actigraphy will be documented to get an estimated sleep time. "An experienced registered polysomnographic technologist and board certified sleep physicians will review date for data quality and total recording time. They will stamp all interpretations before finalization. All contractors that reply please provide a answers to the below questions in your response: 1. Is your business small? 2. If small, does your firm qualify as a small, emerging small, emerging business or small disadvantaged business? 3. If disadvantage, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act? 4. Is your firm a certified HubZone firm? 5. Is your firm a women-owned or operated business? 6. Is your firm certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business or Veteran Owned Small Business? Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of a solicitation.
