- Amendment to clarify Statement of Work. Question.) Is the expectation to produce bioclimatic envelope modeling (a more quantitative future scenario forecasting for species ranges changes) or to produce updates spatial climate forecasting with the prescribed data set similar to what the contractor did for the NGB REA? Answer.) This request is not to build quantitative bioclimatic envelopes, and does not attempt to forecast where a species may or may not be able to persist on the ground in the future..It is a more qualitative approach to identifying the relative importance of climate change variables available in the identified datasets (e.g. which aspects of forecasted climate change would most stress or positively affect the CE), and generating cumulative forecasting scores for the expected intensity or magnitude of change in those factors across the range of the conservation element. In this way, a land manager will be able to see where larger and smaller magnitudes of stress or possibly habitat resiliency may exist on the ground for CEs of interest. Amended solicitation to add Attachment 1 and 2 and remove the small business set-aside statement.
