Description
ROTOR KEY WAY CRACKING VULNERABILITY: HYDRO ROTOR KEY CRACK STUDIES AND REPORTS: The Bureau of Reclamation intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Ceati International, Inc. for membership in Hydropower and dam focused collaborative research group. This project involves the development of comprehensive collaborative research. This collaborative will perform research on issues related to generating and transmitting hydropower, water management, and dam safety. Through this method, research, studies, and the subsequent reports can be obtained at a highly discounted rate. In addition, membership provides access to world class producers, services, and partnership opportunities related to research and development, bench marking, networking, learning, and information exchange. Membership also includes participation in semi-annual meetings and access to purchase research and development projects and reports pertaining to the above mentioned business areas. CEATI provides membership to a consortium focused on dams, hydroelectric plants, and renewable energy creating opportunities for economies of through bringing Reclamation together with similar utilities from around the world and addressing industry related problems as a group. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. If firms believe they have the technical capability to meet this need, submit a technical capability statement along with business profile to Mr. Ronald Graham at ronaldgraham@usbr.gov within 1 day of this notice. Any information received will be treated as market research information towards future similar or same requirement. Quotations or proposals received in response to this notice will not be accepted since this synopsis is not a request for quote or a request for proposal.
