- SOLICITATION This solicitation is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. Sole Source Procurement The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Virginia Panel Equipment, 1400 New Hope Rd., Waynesboro, VA, 22980-2647. All other offerors may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to solicit, negotiate, and enter into a Firm Fixed Price Commercial Supply Contract IAW FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the following procurement: CLIN 0001-ITA, 9050, 50 Module CLIN 0002-Protective Cover, 9050, VXI CLIN 0003-Enclosure, 50 Module, L-Shaped CLIN 0004-Blank Module, Receiver/ITA CLIN 0005-Blank Module, Receiver/ITA CLIN 0006-Mini Coaxial Module CLIN 0007-TriPaddle Signal/Mini Power Module CLIN 0008-Coaxial Patchcord, ITA CLIN 0009-Mini Power ITA Patchcord CLIN 0010-Signal ITA Patchcord QUANTITY: CLIN 0001- 3 EA, CLIN 0002- 3 EA, CLIN 0003- 3 EA, CLIN 0004- 30 EA, CLIN 0005- 12 EA, CLIN 0006- 24 EA, CLIN 0007- 3 EA, CLIN 0008- 1500 EA, CLIN 0009- 48 EA, CLIN 0010- 66 EA. Delivery: Require FOB Destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane, Indiana 47522, 8 weeks ARO. Quoters - Please note before preparing your quote, carefully review ALL SECTIONS. An acceptable quote will consist of the following: Signed SF 1449 (ALL PAGES RETURNED) All pricing must be entered on each CLIN of solicitation The solicitation attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. To be eligible for award of a Government contract, contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The link to the website is https://www.sam.gov. The solicitation will be available for download on 15 SEP 2014. Closing date will be on 18 SEP 2014, 4:00 P.M. EDT. This notice is a synopsis and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure subject equipment, all changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
