- ***The purpose of this amendment is to extend the closing date of RFQ to 3:00 Central Time on September 16, 2014. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for logistics systems support services in support of Edgewood Chemical Biological Center - Rock Island (ECBC-RI) in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (Attachment 0001), dated 04 September 2014. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the solicitation only; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quote (RFQ) W52P1J-14-T-DB17 is issued for Full and Open Competition. The Government anticipates award of a single purchase order, containing a base period of one (1) year, with the three (3) one-year options included. This RFQ will be firm-fixed price, in accordance with the terms and conditions included in Attachment 0002, Clauses and Provisions. Offerors shall submit a price for all years to be considered for award. Award will be made to the offeror that submits a technically acceptable quote and has the lowest total evaluated price. The evaluation factors are outlined in Attachment 0003, FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items. The following NAICS code and small business size standard apply: NAICS: 541614 Size Standard: $14,000,000 The following attachments are hereby incorporated by reference: Attachment 0001 - Performance Work Statement Attachment 0002 - Contract Clauses/Provisions Attachment 0003 - DFARS Tax Liability As referenced in the addendum to FAR 52.212-1, Instruction - Commercial Items, the following document shall be included with your quote: - A signed copy of Attachment 0003, DFARS Tax Liability - Documented proof which shows the contractor possesses a minimum of two (2) years experience in government chemical-biological logistics systems support.
