Description

Sole Source Justification The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Recruit Depot- Parris Island, SC intends to negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order for Artifact Curation with the University of South Carolina. The Sole Source Justification for Simplified Acquisitions is attached to this notice. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), the contracting officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
