Description
DO NOT CONTACT POSTER. FOR ALL INFORMATION CONTACT: FMS Engineer Mark Conrad (443-395-7013, mark.g.conrad.civ@mail.mil) Sources sought. Sources for procurement and delivery of CODAN, FURUNO, and ICOM commercial communications and radar equipment for a maritime communications center. US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) is seeking sources able to provide the equipment listed below. The equipment is for a naval communications center, but no installation, training, or other services are needed other than equipment delivery to a foreign destination. The US Government will be responsible for all export licenses. Quantities are 1 each unless noted. CODAN communications equipment: NGT MR Base System with MIL-STD-188-110A/B and STANAG 4359 Modem with STANAG 5066 email software; 1kW PEP amplifier; antenna and lightning protection for the 1kW PEP system; voice encryption; frequency hopping; MIL-STD-188-141B Automatic Link Establishment; Independent Sideband operation; parts to install in 19 quote mark rack; manuals for amplifier and NGT MR Base System. ICOM equipment: IC-M604A VHF marine transceiver; IC-M88IS VHF marine transceiver (qty 4); ICOM MA-500TR Class B AIS transponder. FURUNO equipment: FAR2167DSBB/12 marine radar; GPS GP32 (or GP33 if GP32 not available). Computer equipment: Apricorn 16GB Aegis Secure Key USB 2.0 256-bit AES encrypted flash drive (qty 2); Dell OptiPlex 9010 minitower w/standard PSU, Windows 7 Professional, w XP mode, no media, 64-bit, English (qty 2) (or an equivalent to the OptiPlex 9010); Dell laptop Vostro 3560 (or an equivalent to the Vostro 3560); Dell S2740L 27-inch full HD monitor with LED (qty 2) (or equivalent); Samsung UA-60EH6000 60 quote mark multi-system LED TV (or equivalent); Walmart Articulating wall mount for 37 quote mark to 64 quote mark flat panel TVs (or equivalent); Dell S320wi Projector with 4-year advanced exchange and complete care warranty (or equivalent); Sony DCR-SX45EBK PAL camcorder with 60X Optical Zoom Black (or equivalent). It is intended to have the equipment consolidated by the contractor and transported in as few shipping containers as possible. Answering this Market Survey The response should be an assessment of the contractor's ability to procure all the equipment, to include estimated delivery time, and a brief description of the ability to consolidate and ship the items. No costing or pricing is required at this time. An email response to the POC is sufficient. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The US Government is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The Government will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The Government may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. All responses to this market survey must be received 10 October 2014 at 4:00 PM CST. Please include the announcement number in your e-mail.
