This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Statement of Work Transformer Lab Kit Background: The United States Army Prime Power School (USAPPS) trains U.S. Army and Navy personnel on the proper utilization of Power Transmission and Distribution Transformer Testing, Troubleshooting, and Connections to evaluate the proper output and reliability conditions of electrical power and distribution transformers, to include the associated distribution equipment for our supported customers. Scope: USAPPS has a requirement for ten (10) Transformer Lab Kits (Hampden H-DTT-26-120) or equivalent with an electrical fault package, color coded cord sets and a phase rotation meter for each of the lab kits to support the Transformer Course taught at the Prime Power School. USAPPS is tasked to provide industry standard training of transformer connections, phase rotation identification, emergency configuration practices and fault identification with repair. This requires the school to continuously evaluate the curriculum for relevance and the best product available to accomplish this objective. The Hampden Transformer Lab Kit, H-DTT-26-120 has been identified to meet this training requirement as well as the projected requirement of Live-Line tie in projected training level of the U4 course for 12P MOS (students), and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requirements for each 12Q2 soldier to understand Transformer connections for power and distribution.
