The questions and answers are as follows: QUESTION: CLIN 2 We need additional information on the existing fixtures we are installing the recessed bulbs in. What kind and what is the voltage? ANSWER: CLIN 2 The existing recessed fixtures are typical can light style fixtures that utilize 120 volts and include exterior lights. Interior cans use a typical 120 volt bulb with a current light output of 1600 lumens. The exterior can lights currently utilize high pressure sodium lamps with a larger base. There are 32 exterior can light bulbs to be replaced which are included in the schedule. No replacement of parking area lights will be necessary. QUESTION: CLIN 4 For the LED T8 bulb, how many lamp fixtures are in the existing fixtures 2, 3 or 4 lamp? If they are a 4 lamp fixture and we replace all 4 lamps with new LED lamps we will more than double the current Lumens the existing fixtures is putting out? Can you provide more information regarding the exterior fixtures and light poles? What are the existing controls? ANSWER: CLIN 4 The T8 bulbs will be replaced with LED bulbs as specified in the statement of work which indicate the required lumen output. There are various T8 fixture types with some having the capability of 4 bulbs, but only have 2 bulbs installed. Replacement will be bulb for bulb, not based on fixture capacity. Some upward facing bulbs will be removed and not replaced as indicated in the statement of work. The schedule reflects a bulb for bulb replacement for T8 bulbs. Exterior fixtures are also controlled through the Leviton control system. Some lights have had a timer installed within the circuit path of exterior lights to compensate for the malfunctioning Leviton controls. The timer will be removed as part of the contract.
