Description

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Acquisition Operations (OAO), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown NJ intends to enter into a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for the Financial Services Center (FSC). The TAC intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Plexis Healthcare Systems, 340 Oak Street, Ashland OR 97520 for Plexis Claims Manager (PCM) software licenses and maintenance support services. This action consists of the procurement of 10 PCM software licenses and maintenance support services for a total of 100 PCM software licenses to include 90 PCM software licenses that the FSC originally purchased in September of 2012. PCM is an integrated Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server-based healthcare information system providing complete benefit administration, medical and vision claim processing, and reporting features for organizations in the healthcare Information Technology (IT) environment. The Statutory Authority for this effort falls under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 6.302-1 entitled, "Only Once Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will satisfy Agency Requirements." The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 511210 and size standard is $35.5M. The estimated date of award for this action is September 23, 2014. This notification shall close on September 16, 2014 at 3PM EST. Questions shall be submitted to lauren.sankar@va.gov with the synopsis number, VA118-14-Q-0691, as the subject line.
