Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Audie L. Murphy Medical Center, San Antonio, TX, VISN 17, intends to negotiate a sole-source Purchase Order with Illumina, Inc for the TRUSEQ RNA Sample Kits. This will be a standing order purchase order effective 9-18-2014 thru 9-17-2015. FC-401-3001 1 TRUSEQ SBS KIT v3 - HS (200 CYCLES) 13 KT PE-401-3001 2 TRUSEQ PE CLUSTER KIT v3 - cBOT - HS 13 KT WG-314-1003 3 HUMAN METHYLATION 450 DNA ANALYSIS 8 KT BEAD CHIP LIT (24 SAMPLES) 4 ESTIMATED SHIPPING & HANDLING 5 EA NAICS code 541711/500. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (ii) (A), only one responsible source and FAR 6.302-3 (b) (1) (III), Research Capabilities. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no valid responses are received, the South Texas Veterans Health Care System will proceed with the intended sole source contract. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 P.M.
