- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQP04181400016 for the provision of 430,000 lbs. of Breaded Chicken Patties to various Federal Bureau of Prison's Facilities located throughout the Midwestern United States geographic area. Varying quantities of the total 430,000 lbs. of product will be delivered to institutions in Colorado, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, South Dakota, and Kansas. Actual quantities to be delivered to each location will be specified in the RFQ. Deliveries will commence after award to be completed by October 16, 2014. This will be a firm fixed price type contract. Cost for delivery will be included in the unit pricing. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be made available on or about September 11, 2014 and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 311612 with a size standard of 500 Employees. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 18, 2014; however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation (Block #8) for the actual date/time quotations are due. The solicitation is being issued as 100% total set-aside for small business. All responsible sources may submit a quote for consideration. The anticipated date of award will be approximately September 24, 2014.
