- Sources Sought Notice Description The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 21 is conducting market research to determine potential sources have the skills, capabilities, and experience necessary to provide SAS Skills Development Services SAS (R) Training Points Level 2, 30,200. This Sources Sought Announcement is issued to determine if there is any Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), or any other Small or Large Business that is a license reseller. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, supervision, equipment, and resources necessary to provide SAS Skills Development Services which can be used by research fellows, career development awardees, and their research staff to obtain needed individualized training services with respect to SAS statistical software via specialized SAS-authorized training courses given by SAS employees or authorized SAS subcontractors. The Period of Performance is anticipated to be a Base Year and Two Option Years, and will begin on/about September 25, 2014. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The NAICS is 511210 and the small business size standard is $38.5 million. All questions shall be submitted in writing to Phyllis.Charles@va.gov Interested firms identifying with one or more of the above listed categories should send their information via email to Phyllis.Charles@va.gov no later than 4:00 PM PDT September 15, 2014. Information should include the Name of the Company, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number, and indicate status i.e. SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, Hubzone, Small Disadvantage Business, or Large Business. The capabilities will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining if a set-aside opportunity exists.
