- In accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.8.4.2, the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) intends to procure office chairs from Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR). The required UNICOR products are compatible and offer interchangeability with existing standardized components that are currently in use at the WJHTC. This announcement is for notification purposes only in accordance with AMS Policy 3.2.1.3.11.2. This is not a request for competitive proposals, since a competitive solicitation is not available for this requirement.
