The following questions and responses are provided in response to the Site Visit. 1. Please provide a layout of the equipment that will be beneath the hood. This includes current equipment and future equipment. Please be as specific as possible. Response : Current Equipment was observed by contractors on site. Future Equipment a. Electric Steam Kettles to replace existing steam kettles, and would be located accordingly. b. Braising Pan for general purpose frying/cooking, would be located where the fire suppression system is currently pointed where a fryer used to be located. 2. Confirm that this will be Davis Bacon Wage rate for Building Construction in Comanche County (General Decision Number: OK140043). Response: Confirmed 3. Provide hours of operation of the kitchen (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner...). Response: Hours are as follows a. 6am-8am Breakfast b. 10am-12pm Lunch c. 3pm-5pm Dinner d. 5pm-6pm Cleanup 4. Will we be able to work evenings (after the time that dinner has been served and clean-up is complete) inside the kitchen? Response: Evening Hours are available from 6pm-6am and would be fine for contractor to work. 5. Will third party testing of the hood be provided by the contractor or by the owner? Response: 3rd Party would be required. Contract would be directly under the government, contractor can provide list of credentialed inspectors to the government. 6. Will the project also need to be inspected by the City of Lawton Mechanical Division and the Lawton Fire Marshall? Response: No. We are not under the jurisdiction of the City of Lawton. A courtesy inspection would be appreciated, but city would not likely provide this service. 7. There could be a lead time of 4 to 6 weeks on the fabrication of the kitchen hood from the time of order. When will the 90 day period of performance start, when the contract is awarded or when actual work begins on site? Response: When Notice to Proceed has been provided to the Contractor. We anticipate a similar lead time for the finger print requirement.
