Description
Example Photo This is a request for information only. This is not a request for proposal and there is no solicitation package available at this time. The United States Air Force, 375 Contracting Squadron (LGCB), Scott Air Force Base, IL is seeking sources to provide three (3) photo display boards. Scott Air Force Base is conducting market research to determine the availability of business capable of providing treadmills based on the description below. 1. Description of Services: The 375 CG requires three separate picture boards for displaying the chain of command, 375 CG heritage, and Senior Enlisted Leaders, and 6 (24" x 24") shields for displaying lines of authority. 2.Project Description: a. 375 CG Heritage (Quantity 1): Design, manufacture, deliver, and install a 375 CG Heritage board in the hallway outside the CG front office, on the wall opposite the 375 CG small conference room. The picture board will be plywood and standard-grade black laminate frame with a standard-grade laminate backer panel. The dimensions of the picture board will be approximately 96" wide, 48" tall, and 2" deep. It will include three (3) brushed aluminum laminate pinch cleat spanner rails (approximately 94.5" wide, 3" tall) to hold photo panels. The header will contain 2 shields (375 CG and USAF Symbol) and title "375 CG Heritage". The header will be plywood and standard-grade black laminate approximately 96" wide, 12" tall, 2" deep. It will have dimensional lettering set applied consisting of approximately 8" tall ¼" thick black acrylic with brushed silver metallic laminate face. The shields will be digitally printed graphic, approximately 9" tall, mounted to ¼" thick black sintra PVC (or equal), and contour cut to shape. b. Chain of Command (Quantity 1): Design, manufacture, deliver, and install a Chain of Command board on the wall in the CG front office where the existing chain of command photos are displayed. The picture board will be plywood and standard-grade black laminate frame with a standard-grade laminate backer panel. The dimensions of the picture board will be approximately 96" wide, 48" tall, and 2" deep. It will include two (2) brushed aluminum laminate pinch cleat spanner rails (approximately 94.5" wide, 3" tall) to hold photo panels. The header will contain 2 shields (375 CG and USAF Symbol) and title "Chain of Command". The header will be plywood and standard-grade black laminate approximately 96" wide, 12" tall, 2" deep. It will have dimensional lettering set applied consisting of approximately 8" tall ¼" thick black acrylic with brushed silver metallic laminate face. Senior Enlisted Leaders (Quantity 1): Design, manufacture, deliver, and install a Senior Enlisted Leaders board on the wall outside the 375 CG small conference room, opposite the 375 CG Heritage picture display. The picture board will be plywood and standard-grade black laminate frame with a standard-grade laminate backer panel. The dimensions of the picture board will be approximately 96" wide, 36" tall, and 2" deep. It will include one (1) brushed aluminum laminate pinch cleat spanner rail (approximately 94.5" wide, 3" tall) to hold photo panels. The header will contain 2 shields (375 CG and USAF Symbol) and title "Senior Enlisted Leaders". The header will be plywood and standard-grade black laminate approximately 96" wide, 12" tall, 2" deep. It will have dimensional lettering set applied consisting of approximately 8" tall ¼" thick black acrylic with brushed silver metallic laminate face. The shields will be digitally printed graphic, approximately 9" tall, mounted to ¼" thick black sintra PVC (or equal), and contour cut to shape. d. photo panels (Quantity 35): Design, manufacture, deliver, and install 35 photo panels. The photo panels will be black, ¼" thick, sintra PVC (or equal) approximately 11.75" wide, 14" tall, each with one clear acrylic envelope at 8" wide, 10" tall, and one clear acrylic envelope at 8" wide, 2" tall. Each photo panel will be outfitted with a black pinch cleat for hanging on the spanner rails indicated in items a-c above. Art work for the photo panels is customers' responsibility e. Shields (Quantity 6): Design, manufacture, deliver, and install six (6) shields, approximately 24" X 24" in the multi-purpose room (old COMF area). The six shields will be: AMC shield, 18 AF shield, 375 AMW shield, 375 CG shield, 375 CS shield, and 375 CSPTS shield. All shields will be digitally printed graphic, approximately 24" tall, mounted to ¼" thick black sintra PVC (or equal), and contour cut to shape. The shields will be mounted on existing pillars, 3 on one side of the multi-purpose room and 3 on the opposite side of the multi-purpose room.3. Hours of Operation: The work shall be performed during normal duty hours (7:30 A. M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday thru Friday). 4. Preparation: Vendor shall be responsible for reviewing the building site prior to installation. The beginning of installation implies acceptance of existing conditions. 5. Cleanup: The Vendor shall collect all trash, debris, refuse, garbage, etc., which they generate and remove it from the site. No dumpsters shall be required. Vendor shall remove all debris off-base. 6. Protection: The vendor shall take precautions to prevent damage to government property. The vendor shall repair or replace damaged items at no additional cost to the government. Contract Type 375th Contracting Squadron is anticipating a firm fixed price contract.
