Description
OCIA Parking Spaces - RFQ HSHQDC-14-Q-00400 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This requirement is North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 812930. The Department of Homeland Security intends to procure parking spaces within one block of 1401 S. Clark Street, Arlington, VA 22202 - Jefferson Plaza 2 (formerly 1421 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA). The anticipated period of performance is as follows: Base Period: Date of Award - June 30, 2015 Option Period I: July 1, 2015 - June 30, 2016 Option Period II: July 1, 2016 - June 30, 2017 Quotes are due by 10 AM, Tuesday, September 16, 2014. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. (b) If the Government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause. (c) The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed thirty-four (34) months. 2. Advertisements, Publicizing Awards, and News Releases All press releases or announcements about agency programs, projects, and contract awards need to be cleared by the Program Office and the Contracting Officer. Under no circumstances shall the Contractor, or anyone acting on behalf of the Contractor, refer to the supplies, services, or equipment furnished pursuant to the provisions of this contract in any publicity news release or commercial advertising without first obtaining explicit written consent to do so from the Program Office and the Contracting Officer. The Contractor agrees not to refer to awards in commercial advertising in such a manner as to state or imply that the product or service provided is endorsed or preferred by the Federal Government or is considered by the Government to be superior to other products or services.
