- NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following Build-to-Print Circuit Card Assemblies: Quantity 3 each: First Article Build-to-Print Circuit Card Assemblies per applicable drawings. Quantity 27 each: Build-to-Print Production Circuit Card Assemblies per applicable drawings NOTE: The Drawings will not be exhibited due to restricted distribution statements. To receive a copy of the drawing, a company must be certified under the Joint Certification Program (JCP) managed for Defense Logistics Information Service, Battle Creek, MI as evidenced by a JCP Certification number. To obtain a copy of the drawings, send an e-mail request to Alison Wicks at Alison.C.Wicks@navy.mil. Your request must include: 1. Your company's complete mailing address (PO Boxes are not acceptable) 2. Cage code 3. DUNS number 4. JCP Certification number 5. Point of contact and phone number 6. Fed-EX Account#. If no Fed-Ex account# is provided, drawings will be sent via the USPS. Components of the Circuit Card Assemblies are listed in the drawings, along with the manufacturer CAGE Codes and part numbers. Offeror's shall procure components from the original manufacturer specified in the drawings or from a manufacturer-approved distributor. The use of alternate part number items requires written Government approval. The contract shall assign serial numbers for all production Circuit Card Assemblies. The serial numbers shall commence with B001 and continue sequentially. The contractor shall prepare and package the Circuit Card Assemblies for shipment in accordance with best commercial practices. At a minimum, each Circuit Card Assembly shall be individually packaged in padded electrostatic discharge protection bags, which indicate that it contains electrostatic sensitive devices. The contractor shall ensure that the shipping container protects the Circuit Card Assemblies from damage during shipping. This procurement will be processed using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is being advertised on as a 100% Small Business Set-aside under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 334418, Size Standard 500 employees. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through current Federal Acquisition Circular. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) ( https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ ) to be eligible for award. Instructions for registration are available at the website. The anticipated posting date of solicitation N66604-14-Q-3231 is on or about 22 September 2014. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the RFQ. Additional information and requirements will be included in the RFQ. The Government intends to award a single FFP purchase order to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quote that shall be considered by the agency. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the FEDBIZOPPS website. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments.
