Description
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, Contracting Branch (AFLCMC/HNCK) hereby gives notice of intent to award a Brand Name or Equal Firm Fixed Price contract as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a) (Brand Name), soliciting from limited sources to satisfy agency requirements. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 334220, No. of Employees is 750. Solicitation/Purchase Request Number FA8307-14-Q-0258 issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60 effective 26 July 2012. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation may be obtained in full text form located at FAR Site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for the purchase of the following: One (1) each 106'PCTel-Lattice Series Mobile Tower and Trailer (includes Guy Kit and 3 Sector Antenna Mast), P/N: PCT-106. Only Brand Name or Equal will be accepted. Quotes must meet all the salient characteristics of the following: Tower Requirements: Maximum deployed height of 106 feet Minimum deployed height no greater than 28 feet Collapsible/expandable in both vertical and tilt axis Lattice Tower Material - Galvanized Steel Payload support of no less than 650 pounds Lockable weather-proof control panel Wash duty tilt and main motors Operates off of 120 VAC power Top of mast 3-sector antenna mount Complete guying kit to include anchors Safety limit switches Trailer Requirements: Dual axle suspension Electric Brake system Full size spare tire 2 5/6" ball hitch, safety chains & breakaway kit 7-pin electrical connector At least two stowable/folding outriggers At least a 4.5 cubic foot lockable storage box Towable by a standard ¾-1 ton pickup Maximum transportation height (tower tilted down) of 12.5 feet Maximum transport length (tower tilted down) of 33 feet Black powder coated finish Required Delivery is 30 days after receipt of order. Items will be shipped to 230 Hall Blvd, San Antonio, TX 78243. The Government intends to make an award by October 2014. Interested parties capable of providing the above must submit a written quote to include discount terms, tax identification number, cage code, and DUNS. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database, no exceptions.
