Description

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Acquisition Operations (OAO), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown NJ intends to enter into a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for the Office of Information and Technology (OI&T). The TAC intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price (FFP) contract to Fiserv Inc, 255 Fiserv Dr, Brookfield, WI 53045-5815 for software maintenance and technical support of existing licenses. This action consists of the procurement of Fiserv Frontier FUND Xpedite 5.2 Reconciliation Software maintenance and technical support. The software is used to reconcile Standard Form 224 cash transactions, Defense Finance and Accounting Services payroll transactions, and transactions for the Centrally Billed Account (US Bank, Travel Management Center and FEDTraveler). The Statutory Authority for this effort falls under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 6.302-1 entitled, "Only Once Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will satisfy Agency Requirements." The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 511210 and size standard is $35.5M. The estimated date of award for this action is September 28, 2014.
