Description
Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This request is for market research (FAR Part 10) purposes to determine potential businesses capable of providing the product described herein. Respondents should note that the Government will not return any information submitted in response to this request. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by respondents providing information to this request. Respondents must submit capability statements that clearly define the firm's ability to perform the service stated. Responses must include the company name, address, business size, CAGE Code, DUNS number, and point-of-contact name, phone number, and e-mail address. The capability statement package may be sent by email to dextra.d.davis.mil@mail.mil or mail to SSG Dextra D. Davis, Contract Specialist, MICC-Fort Lee,1830 Quartermaster Road, Fort Lee, VA 23801. Submissions must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. ET on October 8, 2014. Questions or comments regarding this notice may be addressed to dextra.d.davis.mil@mail.mil. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, operating systems, software, tools, materials, supervision, and other items to perform non-personal services necessary to perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) services and Emergency Repair Services for Liebert Model FH529C-AA005530 down flow 30-ton Computer Room Air Handling Units (CRAU), designated as AC #1, #3, #4, #7 and # 9 thru 14, with return plenum ducted to drop ceiling. Liebert Model FH529C-AAEIS530 down flow 30-ton Computer Room Air Handling Units (CRAU) designated AC #2, #5, #6 and #8, with return plenum ducted to drop ceiling. Liebert 15-ton Air Handling Unit (AHU) ducted to the Production Operations office space (PRODOPS) are for comforter cooling of the Primary Data Center (PDC) in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The Contractor shall perform the Preventative Maintenance and Emergency repair Services for the Liebert Model FH529C-AA005530 down flow 30-ton Computer Room Air Handling Units (CRAU), designated as AC #1, #3, #4, #7 and # 9 thru #14, with return plenum ducted to drop ceiling. Liebert Model FH529C-AAEIS530 down flow 30-ton Computer Room Air Handling Units (CRAU) designated AC #2, #5, #6 and #8, with return plenum ducted to drop ceiling. Liebert 15-ton Air Handling Unit (AHU) ducted to the Production Operations office space (PRODOPS) are for comforter cooling of the Primary Data Center (PDC) in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Period of Performance: The period of performance is a two (2) year effort consisting of one (1) base year and one (1) option year to be exercised. Notification and Scheduling of PM Services: The first Preventive Maintenance (PM) will be scheduled no sooner than two (2) weeks and no later than 90 days after the agreement commences. Maintenance visits shall be scheduled at the convenience of the Government during normal business hours (Monday thru Friday, 8a.m. - 5p.m.) unless prearranged with the onsite Government Representative. The Contractor shall give the Government Representative a 30-day notice prior to starting any PM type services. This is required in order to coordinate site mission coverage when electrical equipment requires an interruption in service. This notice must be given through email to the Government Representative, a designated representative from the PD ALTESS LMP Operations Team and a designated representative from the PD LMP SDC Operations staff (names TBD and given to the Contractor on award of this contract).
