- Description
- The United States Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) has a requirement for nine (9) Hardware Kits needed to upgrade the MaxxPro Dash Vehicle and Long Wheeled Base (LWB) Ambulance to a final configuration identified as Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP 21). The 9 Hardware Kits include: Starter Durability, HVAC System Upgrade Kits, Internal and External Tie Down Kits, Roxtex Wiring Pass Through Kits (Front Roof), Lift Eye, Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS) Valve Cover, MaxxPro Survivability Upgrade (MSU) Transmission Service, Back-Up Alarm, and Slam Hatch. This requirement will be solicited as a one-time procurement under Solicitation W56HZV-14-R-0337 and will result in a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Solicitation W56HZV-14-R-0337 will provide for full and open competition. A single contract award, comprised of a base and option period, is anticipated to the source whose proposal provides the lowest evaluated offer on the basis of price only. The Government reserves the right to request a pre-award survey for the prospective contractor in accordance with FAR Part 9.106. The estimated total quantity per kit is as follows: Starter Durability: 1,956; HVAC System Upgrade Kits: 1,641; Internal and External Tie Downs: 1,199; Roxtex Wiring Pass Through Kits (Front Roof): 1,199; Lift Eye: 1,641; CTIS Valve Cover: 1,956; MSU Transmission Service: 1,956; Back-Up Alarm: 1,850; and Slam Hatch: 2,227. The prospective contractor must be determined responsible in accordance with FAR Part 9.104. Solicitation W56HZV-14-R-0337 will be issued on or about 29 August 2014. Please refer to the solicitation for all terms, conditions, specifications, requirements, etc. The technical data package (TDP) for each kit is Distribution D and will be available for explicit access to qualified U.S. Contractors when solicitation is released. The solicitation pertaining to this notice will not be available until approximately fifteen days from the date of this notice.
