- Equipment List Request For Quote This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number is PBGC01-RQ-14-0128 and is being issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69, effective 1 August 2013. The NAICS Code is 423430 Computer and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software Merchant Wholesalers. This requirement is for Communication ByPass Switches. Equipment is: (a) Nomenclature: GigaVUE-2404 8 10G Ports, 4 1G Ports, AC Power Part Number: GVS-432 Quantity: 2 Must be new equipment (b) Nomenclature: 10GigaPort-8x, 8x10G Fiber SFP+Port Expansion Blade for GigaVUE 2404 Part Number: PRT-438 Quantity: 1 Must be new equipment (c) Nomenclature: 10 GigaBPS-2SR In-Line bypass module for GigaVUE 2404 Part Number: BPS-GV6-X20020 Quantity: 2 Must be new equipment (d) Nomenclature: 1 Gig SFP, Copper, UTP with RJ45 Interface Part Number: SFP-501 Quantity: 8 Must be new equipment (e) Nomenclature: 10 Gig SFP+, Multimode 850nm SR Part Number: SFP-532 Quantity: 8 Must be new equipment Offeror must be registered in the System For Awards Management (SAM) database before an award can be made to them. If the offeror is not registered in SAM, it may do so through the SAM website at http://www.sam.gov. This is not Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rated. Quotes shall be submitted electronically to pagano.lester@pbgc.gov no later than 10:00 am (Eastern Standard Time) 11 September 2014. Quotations must be valid for sixty (60) days after due date. Any amendment(s) issued to this RFQ will be published thru FedBizOpps. Therefore, it is the Offeror's responsibility to visit the FedBizOpps website frequently for updates on this procurement.
