- Rough Work Site Diagram Revised Statement of Work RFQ Document (Updated) *** The purpose of Amendment 01 is to incorporate a revised Statement of Work (dated 05-Sep-2014), add a rough diagram of the work site, extend the solicitation closing time, and to incorporate a revised RFQ document (Bid Sheet) to reference both the new SOW and extended closing time. Please read the revised SOW carefully, as there are minor changes contained throughout the document. The added work site diagram shows a rough visual of the current building arrangement and also includes a few notes regarding the original and revised phone drop location preferences. This diagram is not exact, and it is up to the contractor to provide a workable solution to meet the needs of the Government. The updated RFQ document is provided as a bid schedule for your proposed pricing. Additional documents may be submitted with your proposal as you deem necessary. *** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued. The solicitation number is # F2M3U24094AC02 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-78 and DFARS change notice 20140805. This purchase is restricted to Small Business concerns. This NAICS code is 238210 and the size standard is $15M. This is a requirement for the installation of Category 6 cables as indicated in the attached RFQ document and Statement of Work. Site Visit - There will be a brief site visit located on Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio TX. The site visit will begin at 1430hrs (CST) on Wednesday, September 3rd. The site visit will include a visit to the work site in order to view the building/site conditions under which the work must be completed. If you wish to attend or participate in the site visit, please provide the names of all individuals that wish to attend by 1200hrs (CST) on Wednesday, September 3rd. SSgt Williams will be available at the Walters Street Visitor's Center around 1400 (CST) the afternoon of the site visit to assist with obtaining temporary base access if required. Questions - All questions are due in writing to the contracting office no later that 1200hrs (CST) on Thursday, September 4th. All other terms and conditions may be found in the attached RFQ document.
