- RFQ LC14QFD015 The Library of Congress is issuing a request for quote (RFQ) on behalf of FEDLINK customer, U.S. Government Printing Office to the existing holder of a basic ordering agreement who previously qualified for this procurement by responding to RFP LCFDL13R7700 for the provision of on-site digitization and digital archiving services. FEDLINK services are used by federal libraries and information centers worldwide. Written responses should include prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability. No telephone calls will be accepted. Ref: LC14QFD015-GPOV. Scope. 1. Digitization: Materials to be digitized include publications of various sizes. Digital deliverables include master image files, multiple derivative files, and metadata files. Non-destructive scanning shall be accomplished by personnel with experience in digitizing cultural heritage originals. Work will be conducted on site at the Library of Congress, using Contractor equipment operated by Contractor personnel. 2. Long-term storage: All digital files shall be stored on a long-term basis on secure Contractor servers. 3. Hosting and free public access: All digital files shall be made available 24/7 for unlimited public access and downloading at no charge through a Contractor web site on the open Internet.
