- Description
- The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) has a requirement for a high performance imaging system covering fluorescence and chemiluminescence (qty 1) from Syngene, 5103 Pegasus Court, Frederick, MD 21704. The proposed brand is the G:BOX XX9, part no. 05-GBOX-CHEMI-XX9. This is a brand name or equal solicitation in accordance with FAR 52.211-6. The system consists of the following: 9.1 mega pixel, true 16 bit, -57 deg. C absolute cooled camera; motorized f.95 fixed lens with adjustable focus, aperture and lens feedback (total recall); edge lighting ready; 7 position filer holder - motor driven; UV filter [572-625nm]; UV transilluminator 20x20 cm [302nm]; epi white light LED module; lighting gantry - for all plug and play LED modules; black plastic imaging screen; visible light converter; GeneSys image acquisition software; unlimited copies of gene tools image analysis software; Multiplex Fluorescent package (includes short pass filter, filter 605M[594-610nm] - for use with green fluorophores, filter 705M[700-720nm] - for use with red fluorophores, filter LY800 [809-876nm} - for use with IR fluorophores, set of 2 blue (M) LED light modules - for blue light excitation, set of 2 red (M) LED light modules - for red light excitation, set of 2 green (M) LED light modules - for green light excitation, set of 2 IR (M) LED light modules - for infrared light excitation); Panel PC swing arm, part no. 05-GX-PC-ARM. All responsible sources with the capability to provide a high performance imaging system with the same or similar characteristics may submit a proposal that will be considered. The Government reserves the right to make a decision whether this requirement is available for competition. All offers must be submitted no later than 5:00 P.M. Eastern Time Monday, September 15, 2014 through the U.S. Postal Service at the address of NIH/NIAID/AMOB, 10401 Fernwood Road, Room 2NE52F, MSC 4811, Bethesda, MD, 20817.
