Description

The purpose of this modification is to change solicitation requirement from LPTA to Best Value and respond to questions submitted. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation requirements and will provide the best value to the government. The following question was submitted: 1. Which level of Legionella identification are you looking for? -Tier 1 is Identification of Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1 and serogroup 2-14 (not individual serotyping) and Legionella non-pneumophila. -Tier 2 is identification of Legionella pneumophila plus individual serotyping 1-14 and Legionella non-pneumophila. -Tier 3 is Enumeration of 9 Legionella species and individual serotyping including Legionella pneumophila 1-14. Response: Tier 1 only. Primary concern is the serogroup 1. The official questioning period is now closed and no other questions will be accepted. All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
