This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemental with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is VA248-14-Q-1974. This acquisition is open market and a set aside for Small Business (SB) concerns. The C.W. Bill Young VAMC, formally known as Bay Pines VAMC, anticipates the award of a firm fixed-price contract for Printer Maintenance for C. W. Bill Young VAMC, Bay Pines, Florida, 33744, requires the following: Printer Maintenance services for one base year and one option year. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS CLIN 1: The Contractor shall provide all supplies, parts, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, management and transportation to furnish emergency and routine printer repair/maintenance service for defined OTC Model 560DL and 850XL printers. Additional brands and models of printers may be added to the contract in the future. Detailed description of the printers involved is on the purchase order and furnished to all bidders. Solicitation number VA248-14-Q-1974. All interested vendors must be registered in SAM https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74 effective 30 May 2014. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 811213, Communication Equipment Repair. The Product Service Code (PSC) is D320. A Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded. All interested parties must submit a quote for this service. BASIS FOR AWARD: Award will be made to the lowest price offeror that is determined to be technically acceptable. DELIVERY ADDRESS: The service is to be procured on behalf of the C.W. Bill Young VAMC, 10,000 Bay Pines Blvd, Saint Petersburg, Florida, 33708.
