- The Billings Area Indian Health Services, Billings, Montana intends to award a non-competitive contract on a sole-source base under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 to Johnson Control, Inc., 5757 N. Green Bay Ave., Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 53209-4408 for Preventative Maintenance on the Building Automation Systems (BAS) Fire Suppression System. Johnson Control, Inc. is the proprietary owner of the Building Automation Systems (BAS) and only known vendor certified to perform work on the BAS. The purchase order shall consist of a 12 month period. Any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by September 19, 2014 by 2:00 p.m. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with requirements listed and show that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source acquisition to Johnson Control, Inc. All vendors are hereby notified that if your response is not received by the date and time specified in this notice, it will not be considered.
