Description

The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) seeks other than full and open competition and conduct a Base Year and one Option Year sole source award for standard preventive maintenance under Heidelberg Partner Program (Agreement #1450043122), which involves: Maintenance Inspections, Part Supply, Repair Parts, Repair Services (to include travel), and Intelligent Support to one each Heidelberg 7-Color Press to Heidelberg USA, 1000 Gutenberg Drive, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Heidelberg USA has proprietary rights on the sale of its equipment, distribution of parts, and all repairs of Heidelberg equipment. The Heidelberg 7-Color Press is located at US Government Printing Office (GPO), 735 North Capitol Street, NE, Building 4, Washington, DC 20002. Under the authority of Citation: 41 U.S.C. 5(3) - Pursuant to Materials Management Acquisition Regulation (MMAR) Part 6.302-1(a) "Sole Source", When only one source of supplies is available. This notice is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responses shall be sent to Senior Contracting Officer Bobbie L. McKoy at bmckoy@gpo.gov on or before September 10, 2014 no later than 12:00 noon, EST.
