Description
The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed- Price (FFP) contract on a noncompetitive basis with ViaSat, 6155 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, CA 92009-1602, for 200 labor hours of remote phone and email engineering and technical support for ViaSat equipment and Software used in the Joint Ultra High Frequency (UHF) MILSATCOM Network Integrated Control System (JMINI CS) deployed at operational sites around the globe. This procurement will allow the Government to contact and reach back to the ViaSat network operations Center. Technical support is needed to have access to ViaSat's SMEs when government personnel have exhausted trouble shooting efforts of ViaSat proprietary equipment. This agreement supports ViaSat's proprietary hardware and software applications including RT-1828 Satellite communications (SATCOM) terminals, splitter combiner drawers, Network Channel Controllers, Integrated Waveform Channel controls, and other hardware and software components utilized to carry out the mission of providing UHF Frequency SATCOM access and services to all branches of the U.S. military and its allies. This procurement will allow for a remote service agreement that will help maintain the equipment and restore operational capacity. Based on the aforementioned facts, only one responsible source and no other supplier or services will satisfy agency requirements in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing that they can fulfill the requirement of providing these services may be considered by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis within 15 calendar days of publication, and must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of products and services provided. Any comments, questions or concerns regarding this notice may be submitted IN WRITING via e-mail to cedric.cunningham@navy.mil. The Government will not pay for any information received.
