Description
DLA MARITIME - PUGET SOUND intends to issue a solicitation for the procurement and installation of one (1) Teflon Coating System (Application Booth, Cure Oven, Quench Tank) required for Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF) maintenance operations. This requirement will be solicited on a 100% set aside to Small Business Concerns using the commercial item procedures outlined in FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a single Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) type commercial purchase order. This requirement will utilize low-price, technically acceptable evaluation factors in determining the successful offer. The applicable NAICS Code is 332312. Offers shall be FOB Destination to Silverdale, WA. The solicitation number for this requirement is SPMYM2-14-Q-0657. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for download on or prior to 15 September 2014. The RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link at https://www.neco.navy.mil and will also be available for download at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The closing date of the solicitation will be 20 days from posting. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from the aforementioned websites and to frequently monitor the sites for any amendments to the RFQ. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, no telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same. Firms interested in submitting proposals must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all representation and certifications found in the solicitation provisions/clauses, (3) provide all product technical specification documentation and technical compliance certifications, and (4) ensure current registration in the SAM system at htpps://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
