- Sources Sought Ocala Window Seal and Interior Repair SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. General Services Administration (GSA) is currently seeking a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to make water tight exterior sections to windows located at the Golden-Collum Memorial Federal Building & U.S.Courthouse, 207 N. W. Second Street, Ocala, Florida 34475. The purpose of this sources sought is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified/verified Small businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) 236220. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS code is $36.5 million. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this requirement, the Government will use responses to this sources sought synopsis. The type of solicitation issued and the manner of advertisement will depend on the responses to this sources sought synopsis. Requirements Description : The Contractor shall provide all l abor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision to include but not limited to repairing and waterproofing exterior windows, repair interior wall damage, and cut out and replace water damaged gypsum boards. The contractors installation supervisor shall have a minimum of five (5) years experience in this type of work and will provide qualified, experienced installers to perform work. In addition, the Contractor shall at all times have a competent English-Speaking Superintendent assigned to this contract. Submission Requirements for responses to this sources sought synopsis : (1) Your intent to submit a quote for this project when it is formally advertised. (2) Name of firm with address, phone and point of contact. (3) Statement of Capability (SOC) stating your skills, experience, years of experience, knowledge, and equipment required to perform the specified type of work. This should include documentation of past relevant experience and technical competence with a similar requirement. (4) A copy of SAM.GOV active registration. Must reflect Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) and Small Business Administration Certification of Small Business Type, (Reps/Certs) (5) A statement addressing your socioeconomic status such as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Hubzone 8(a), Small Business, and etc. All correspondence and responses shall be e-mailed only to Tyshanah Holloway, Tyshanah.Holloway@gsa.gov RESPONSE DEADLINE: ALL RESPONSES MUST BE RECEIVED BY SEPTEMBER 9, 2014 AT 4:30 P.M.
