- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is issued as a request for quote (reference number W912LN-14-T-0022). It is the contractor's responsibility to become familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This solicitation is 100% Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 334510 with a size standard of 500. The RFQ will close on 26 September 2014 at 500 PM. Questions must be submitted in writing by 1200 AM EST 12 September 2014. The requirement is for the following: Requirement is for the Piccolo Xpress, or Equal. Salient characteristics are listed below. If offering other than name brand specified, a copy of all technical information on product offering on must be submitted with quote to be eligible for award. You must also indicate item as or Equal and provide the applicable manufacturer and product number. Quotes received without technical specs of or Equal items will be considered non responsive and quote will NOT be considered for award. Salient characteristics of the blood analyzer is they must be able to perform the following tests Hematocrit, Hemoglobin, Lipid, Glucose, Chem. 13, CMP or comprehensive metabolic panel, Basic metabolic panel. Test results must be within 10 minutes or less. Bid must be good for 30 calendar days after submission. All contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award of a contract. Contractors are encouraged to complete SAM registration as soon as possible; the government will not delay award for the purpose of allowing a contractor time to register in SAM.
