Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Salem, Virginia, (Salem VAMC) is seeking potential offerors to provide all necessary facilities, equipment, and personnel to perform mental health services through interactive telecommunications technology (referred to as telemental health) for eligible beneficiaries of the Salem, Virginia VAMC. Through Salem VAMC providers, telemental health services may include traditional medication management services, substance abuse services, trauma treatment, and any other services as needed and indicated for referred veteran patients. All beneficiaries referred during the contract period will be seen at the CONTRACTOR FACILITY. It is the VA intention to negotiate and award on a competitive basis. The contractor's place of performance must be located within a health care setting that is accessible to veteran beneficiaries residing in the seven-county area surrounding the city of Tazewell, Virginia. These counties include Bland, Tazewell, Buchanan, Smythe, Wythe, Russel, and Giles. The NAICS code for this requirement is 621330. Size standard is $7.0M. This is a sources sought notice only. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this notice should include the following: Name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information which demonstrates firms ability to meet the above requirement.
