Description

This notice document and any incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-76 effective 25 July 2014. The National Institutes of Health, Office of Research Facilities (ORF), Office of Acquisitions, intends to award on a Sole Source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, for the maintenance and repair of four (4) Hitec Diesel Rotatory Uninterruptible Power Supply Units to Hitec Power Protection, Inc. The resultant contract will be for a base of one year and four, one-year option periods. This is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Any firms which believe they are capable of providing necessary space may reply to this notice by submitting a written response. Any response received shall include the following information: 1) Company Name, 2) Address, 3) Point of Contact information with telephone number and email address, 4) Cage Code, 5) DUNS Number and 6) Capabilities information/statement demonstrating the ability to successfully fulfill the Government requirement as described herein. The contractor MUST successfully be able to comply with ALL requirements described herein to be considered capable. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received may be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Firms intending to provide the above stated information must provide their submission to the Contracting Office no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2014.
