- Description
- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA786-14-R-0258 for the following: This contract shall include all labor and materials necessary to provide Blank Upright Marble Headstones on a Nationwide basis. This contract covers the period from October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015 with four (4) 1-year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2019. If the government choose to extend the options. All potential offerors shall submit at their expense one of each sample type by the closing date of this solicitation. The samples shall be used to determine potential awardees' ability to perform inscriptions. Failure to meet any of the requirements will result in the rejection of the sample(s). The sample(s) shall establish the acceptable product for all inscriptions under this contract and shall be the basis for comparisons of all inscriptions services provided under this contract. All potential offerors who have submitted and received approval notification for a sample of the same monument type within the last 12 months may submit a copy of that approved sample review with the bid to avoid submitting an additional sample. If a prior approval is submitted in lieu of an actual sample, an electronic copy of such prior approval must be emailed to MPSProgSupport@va.gov prior to closing of the solicitation. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, terms and conditions of the contract. This acquisition is 100% Service Disable Veterans Own Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 327991 and the Small Business Size Standard is $500 Employees. The contractor shall have until the second Monday, excluding federal holidays, of each month to manufacture, package and transfer to a government transportation carrier each pre-scheduled shipment for delivery. Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following descending order: 1) Price 2) Technical, 3) Past Performance. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from Federal Business Opportunities http://www.FedBizOpps.gov on or around September 2, 2014. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:00 p.m., September 19, 2014. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation which is available at FedBizOpps. No telephone requests will be accepted.
