- Brand Name Justificiation Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures pursuant to the authority in FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; therefore a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being solicited on a full and open basis. All deliveries shall be received no later than 45 days ADO (After Date of Order). The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) does not apply to this action. The Government intends to extend one offer for a commercial, firm fixed price Purchase Order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-74, Effective 30 MAY 2014. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) code is 334310, Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 750 employees. The George C. Marshall Center requires the purchase of Bosch brand audio/visual equipment in order to replace current equipment that has exceeded life-cycle constraints. In accordance with the attached Brand Name Justification, the solicited equipment is restricted to CRESTRON brand equipment. Quoters must be authorized dealers of the products specified in Exhibit A. No exceptions will be made. In addition, all equipment quoted must be eligible for Bosch warranty service and/or manufacturer repair in the host nation of Germany.
