Description
Water Line Replacement Project The Carson National Forest has one (1) waterline replacement project on the Questa Ranger District. The project includes the replacement of the main waterline and removal of all copper waterlines in the selected facilities and trenching these facilities as per drawings and specifications. The contractor shall be required to schedule and complete the required work this calendar year for the Questa Ranger District, shall be scheduled to begin on or about September 30, 2014. Bid Bond, Payment Bond and Performance Bonds are required. Specification and Drawings will be posted on line (if any) with the Solicitation for your viewing & download. No copies of the specs & drawings will be sent from this office. You have access to them at the free site https://www.fbo.gov, (FedBizOpps). Please Note: If none are posted there are none. Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment and supervision in strict accordance with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations and Forest Service construction standards, specifications and procedures to completely prepare site for work to include general construction, alterations, roads, walks, grading, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems and necessary removal of existing structures and construction other items. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, and materials equipment, training, installation documentation and transportation necessary. Contractor will verify safety/ OSHA training has been conducted for all employees working on this project. Waterline Projects and associate areas as required by drawings and specifications provided by the Carson National Forest Engineer, 208 Cruz Alta Road, Taos, New Mexico 87571. The solicitation will be posted on or about September 12, 2014. Site Visit and Bid opening dates will be posted in the solicitation package. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from "Fed Biz Opps" that may be issued for this solicitation. Do not contact this office regarding this project, all information will be posted to the FBO website. The project magnitude range of both projects is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. The IGE is closer to the lower amount on the range. The North American Industry Classification Code is (NACIS) for this procurement is: 237110, size standard is $ 36.5 Million applies. Awardee must have this NACIS code assigned to his or her company in SAM in order to be eligible for award. Time for completion of the project is thirty (30), calendar days after Notice to Proceed. There shall be a pre-construction/site visit conference held for this project, and if so all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of any pre-construction conference will be included in the solicitation package. All prospective contractors must be registered in System Award Management (SAM) at time of award and Invoice Processing Platform (IPP), after award, https://www.ipp.fms.treas.gov/, failure to register at the time of award is grounds for being listed as non-compliant.
