Description

The National Cemetery Administration is seeking the following services through RFP VA786-14-R-0349: This is a performance-based contract for cemetery custodial services at the Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas. The overall responsibility of the Contractor is to plan, coordinate, organize, manage, and perform the activities of "custodial services" described herein, which are required to maintain sanitation and an aesthetic appearance of the following buildings: "Administration Office Building; "Public Information Center (PIC); "Public Restrooms across from the PIC; "Chapel; "Hemicycle Public Restrooms; "Maintenance Office Building; "Offices and bathroom inside the Maintenance Shop. The total area to be serviced is approximately 8,350 square feet. A site visit is scheduled tentatively for Monday September 8th at 10:00AM Central Time. Proposals are to be sent through the ecms vendor portal as explained in the solicitation. Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following order: Past Performance, Technical Approach, Personnel Management and Price. It is a Best Value award, not necessarily an award to the lowest price. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. The NAICS Code is 561720; the size standard is $16.5 million. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov on or about August 29, 2014. Responses to the solicitation are due on 2:00 P.M. on September 17, 2014. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any amendments. Proposals shall be formatted as directed in Section E or may be deemed technically unacceptable and removed from further consideration.
