- Description
- The Department of State, Ralph J. Bunche Library intends to issue a Sole Source order with Scholastic International for BookFlix, TrueFlix, and FreedomFlix. Market research was conducted and it has been determined there is only one responsible source for our requirements in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The services being sought are electronic access to online literacy resources. The content must be accessible to a wide range of audiences including elementary school level, middle school level, high school level, adult level and librarian/educator level. The product must also provide programming tools and support of English language learning. Scholastic International is the sole provider BookFlix, TrueFlix, and FreedomFlix which provides three collections of ebooks that cover all of the required audiences and subject areas. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available; parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement.
