Description

The purpose of this announcement is to provide notice that the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical, 2002 Holcomb, Blvd 77030, intends to make a firm fixed price, sole source award to MAQUET Medical Systems, USA, 45 Barbour Pond Drive, Wayne, NJ 07470. The preventative maintenance contract period of performance is for base year and up to four (4) one-year option periods. The basis for this proposed sole source procurement is that the original equipment manufacturer is the only source of proprietary information necessary for the successful completion of the preventative maintenance required to keep equipment s operational. Comments regarding this proposed procurement may be directed to Contracting Officer Anthony Marion at Anthony.marion2@va.gov no later than September 1, 2014 at 4 pm CST. See attached sole source justification.
